- This extension can delete and modify large numbers of photos in one action. You are responsible for what you select and confirm.
- Deleted items go to Google Photos' trash and are recoverable there for 60 days. After that they are gone.
- Keep your own backup of anything you cannot afford to lose. The extension is free and comes with no warranty.

1.Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and the independent developer of Google Photos Bulk Tools (“the extension”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using the extension you agree to them. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension.
We are not Google. The extension is an independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or reviewed by Google LLC. “Google Photos” is a trademark of Google LLC, used here only to describe what the extension works with.
2.What the extension is
A browser extension that adds bulk operations to the Google Photos web interface: selecting many of your own photos and then downloading, archiving, organising, editing or deleting them. It runs entirely in your browser on photos.google.com. It is not a storage service, a backup service, or a replacement for one.
3.Your account and your data
The extension operates on the Google account already signed in to your browser. You are responsible for:
- Having the right to access and modify the photos you act on.
- What you select before confirming a destructive action.
- Complying with Google's own terms of service for Google Photos.
Your use of Google Photos remains governed by your agreement with Google. Nothing here changes that, and we cannot grant you rights to Google's services.
4.Licence
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the extension. You may not resell it, redistribute a modified copy as your own, or remove its attribution. You may not use it to access accounts or content you are not authorised to access.
5.Cost
The extension is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, no usage cap and no trial period. If that ever changes, existing functionality will not be moved behind a payment without notice in the extension's release notes.
6.Availability, and things outside our control
The extension works by driving the Google Photos web interface. Google can change that interface at any time, without notice, and such a change may break some or all features until an update is released. We do not control Google Photos and cannot guarantee continued compatibility, availability, or that any particular feature will keep working.
7.No warranty
The extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will correctly complete any given operation on any given library.
8.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of photos, videos, metadata or other data; loss of profit, revenue or goodwill; or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the extension, even if advised of the possibility.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the extension, which is zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep any statutory rights that cannot be waived.
9.Backups are your responsibility
Bulk deletion is irreversible once Google's trash is emptied or its 60-day window passes. Before running a large destructive operation, take your own backup. Google Takeout exports a full copy of your library. We are not a backup service and hold no copy of your photos.
10.Third-party services
- Google Photos: the site the extension operates on. Governed by Google's terms and privacy policy.
- An analytics provider: handles the anonymous usage events described in the privacy policy. No photo data is sent to it.
11.Changes to the extension and to these terms
Features may be added, changed or removed. These terms may be updated; the date at the top changes when they are, and material changes will be noted in the release notes. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12.Ending it
You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome, which removes all of its locally stored settings. We may discontinue the extension or withdraw it from the Chrome Web Store at any time.
